Remote Support & Technician Access Policy

You are handing a stranger a way into the computer your business runs on. This page says exactly what we may do with that access, and what we may never do. Questions? Email support@justcallcomputers.com.

Your authorization comes first

Nothing starts until you say so, and it stops at the edge of what you approved.

  • Remote access requires your authorization every time. We never connect on our own initiative.
  • Access is limited to the device and the support task you approved.
  • We use least-privilege access: the lowest level of permission that can actually fix the problem.
  • You can end a session at any moment, for any reason.

How remote sessions run

Sessions are temporary and visible to you while they happen.

  • We connect only through approved remote-support tools.
  • Temporary session access is preferred over standing access.
  • No hidden backdoors, and no secret permanent access of any kind.
  • Every remote session is logged, including who connected, when and to which device.

Your passwords and your data

Your credentials stay yours.

  • We do not store your passwords.
  • We do not copy your business data without your permission.
  • Screen recording or audio recording of a session requires your separate, explicit consent.

Technician USB devices

When a job genuinely needs physical media, these rules apply to it.

  • USB devices used by technicians are company-owned, encrypted, scanned and inventoried.
  • Technician USB devices must never hold customer passwords or private keys.
  • USB use is allowed only for approved diagnostics, recovery or imaging work.

Regulated data environments

Some industries carry obligations we need to know about before we connect.

  • You must tell us in advance if the device or system holds regulated data, such as medical, legal or financial records.
  • We do not claim HIPAA compliance. We will not represent ourselves as HIPAA compliant unless and until a formal compliance program is in place.

If something goes wrong

Security problems get reported, not buried.

  • Suspected security incidents are reported to you and investigated.
  • We will tell you what we know, what we are doing about it and what we found.
Before you approve a session, make sure you are actually allowed to. If the device or account belongs to an employer, a client or a regulated system, get that authorization first — you confirm you have it when you submit a support request.
